Cappi wines, the product of our small boutique vineyard at Shoreham town on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula, was planted out in 1984 by the late Rosie Ireland who was a qualified vigneron. This family enterprise is owned, operated and managed by vigneron Damian Ireland.
Cappi is named in honour of our late family matriarch, Patricia Nellie Ireland (nee Cappi) whose family originated on the northern shores of Lake Como. Patricia's signature is our label.
Viet Animo!
"Viet Animo" translates as "Strength and Truth" which we believe amply describes our wines.
